As I sit here in my office looking at these stun guns, I’m amazed at how simple the concept actually is. A stun gun relies on its electrical current to immobilize the muscles surrounding the contact point. A stungun also interrupts the small impulses from the brain that control voluntary muscle control. The attacker loses the ability to control balance and other functions, and in most cases, falls down, and oh by the way, it hurts!!! The charge doesn’t move from one person to another, so you don’t have to worry about shocking yourself if an attacker is touching you at the time you engage him with the stungun.
We have information on several types of stun technology available to you here today. There are the traditional Stunmaster stun guns, there are stun batons, stun flashlights and there are even cellphone stun guns! Just click on any of the links above for more information on these different variations of stun guns.
There have probably been countless people in your community that may not have had to become a victim of a horrible assault if they had been carrying something as simple as a stun gun. It’s not lethal and the effects on the assailant only last a few minutes or so (unfortunately). Stunguns are safe to carry, legal to carry (in most states), and proven effective ways to ward off an attack. Just the popping sound and the blue arc of the stun gun's electricity alone will make most people back off to a safe distance and allow you time to get to a safe place.
